A Primitive Dinner

Putting a thawed herring exceeding 40 centimeters containing eggs on the
    chopping board
Startled by the beauty of her abundant naked body shining silver
I think how to cook her

Soon I decide in my mind
To sprinkle salt on and broil her

But, if I could not eat it up
I think I am defeated
So, this evening I must eat for nothing but eating
A furious appetite wells up out of my mind

Cooking and drinking cups of sake
In the cave and guidance of Gods
Making myself as one of the beasts
I eat standing alone in the kitchen this evening
