A Happy While
in One Evening

Listening to
Bezet's Carmen,
I am enjoying tins of beer by myself in my
dining kitchen.
In the glass tank on the side table,
the small fish are dancing to the music;
going up and down,
shaking tail and fins,
running at a revel or diagonally at a high
speed,
turning round quickly,
quick-slow, slow-quick, running again
stopping a moment and quivering;
their movements crossing each other on every
side.
I happen to think of an eternity existing in an
instant..
Why?
