Let my corpse
Be buried in the earth as it is
No place is preferred, however
Plant on it a new sprout of oak tree in lieu of a tomb
stone
With moisture in the soil
By relaxation and contraction of the air
My remains, by and by
Creating the innumerable co-lives of bacterium
Giving the tree an energy to take roots and grow
Will be resolved into the atmosphere again
Will be released into the endless lives of breathing in
and breathing out
Even though the world seems to be declined to
The ultimate of collapse
Let my corpse be buried deeply under the ground as it is
As proof of my gratitude for the life that I have
enjoyed
