Economic Efficiency and Monetary Sense

Dropping at a general store to buy soap and other miscellaneous items
Recalling that the sponge washer in my kitchen needs to be replaced soon
I bought a substitution too
The price was just one dollar

This worn out sponge has been a part of my hands for more than a year
Working every day and night without any complaint
Making close friends with my hands
I think I can't bear to throw it away feeling it is pitiful
I wash and dry it once again and return it to the place where it has been
Then, I store the new one in the kitchen cabinet

Coming back to my living room, I find
A newcomer, expensive reclining chair of hundreds of dollars
Occupies the narrow space gorgeously instead of me
"What an imbalance of economy this is!"
I feel something chilly in my mind
