The Family Rosaceae


In the rose family are more than two thousand plants.

Fruit is a drupe, pome, achene, or follicle.

Blackberries, strawberries, raspberries, dewberries and almonds are also in the family Rosaceae.

As is the shrub spirea, also called bridal wreath. And the shrub pyracantha with its bright orange berries.
