Rainbow Across the Sky

Rainbow of colors across the sky,
glistening upon a backdrop of blue,
starring in awe, never wondering why,
caught in it’s mystical rapture so true.

Tranquility felt in that which we see,
spiritual peace to our individual soul,
harmony found in that which may be,
shedding inner fears to reach our goal.

Survival comes from taking the dare,
for life is more than a mere existence,
success is harvested in our daily prayer,
and an endless supply of persistence.

It was never meant to be an easy task,
fighting in the mist of power and might,
waging battles in a war, forever to last,
facing our dark fears, shaking in fright.

Rainbow of colors across the sky,
brilliance shining from high above,
a reason for all the unanswered whys,
soothing the soul with passive love.
