Poems of Samuel E. Stone

Without Saying A Word

A Salty mist filled the air,
white caps rushed the shore,
such a sight so rare to share,
away from the terror of war.

The vast sky of endless blue,
holds an amber glow of sun,
in depths of the ocean so true,
which you know youfve won.

Tasting the salt upon your lips,
seagulls gliding high up above,
naturefs harmonizes lifefs grip,
serenity found in a flying dove.

Essence of time, forever still,
as the power of nature abounds,
after all it is only but Godfs will,
the power and beauty surrounds.

Nature speaks without a word,
presence creates a lasting flow,
sadly to often itfs never heard,
blinded to the light that glows.
