A Reluctant Journey

With Elegance and grace we travel in style,
images of our mind form perfect reflections,
through laughter and tears we hold a smile,
the realities of life are filled with deception.

Blessed are those who appear to be full of grace,
they hold their heads high and seem not to need,
a land of opportunity with so much empty space,
suddenly despair pops up like a lost tumble weed.

Lifefs adventure is a continuous mystery ride,
across the plains and over river beds of gravel,
too close to the water will catch you in the tide,
in search of what we do not know we will travel.

Questions without answers, so little we do know,
while threats to our survival linger ever so near,
endlessly we travel wherever the wind will blow,
the sounds of naturefs cries we constantly hear.

Experiencing life is something we can not share,
a mere happenstance of incidents without a plan,
shadowed by devotion by love ones who do care,
we reluctantly journey all alone across this land.
