Nature's Beauty

Hear the sound of the raging river,
currents stirring, flowing ever deep,
from it?fs banks it constantly delivers,
in bed we lay, curled up, sound asleep.

Upon the shore, evergreen trees so tall,
the wind setting their branches in motion,
around the bend, rapids turn to a waterfall,
nature?fs living, breathing with true devotion.

Hear the cries of the fierce howling wind,
branches bending until they finally break,
waves of white caps, too strong to swim,
simple expression of mother nature?fs stake.

Such awesome power can utterly shatter,
and it?fs raw essence can never be tamed,
destroying, leaving everything in a tatter,
get in it?fs path, you?fll surely be maimed.

Nature?fs clock, just has no need for speed,
what was, and was is, never to be captured,
no one to please, for there never is a need,
it'ss beauty found in it's force and rapture.
