Four Seasons (# 2 /10)

Spring
Transcending from Winter’s withering cold,
Spring appears with promise of renewal hope,
wild flowers radiating colors forever so bold,
such a peaceful beginning to help us all to cope.

Summer
The morning light reflecting through the trees,
casting shadows big and small upon the ground,
a flowing summer’s breeze rustling the leaves,
nature’s magnificence in the air and all around.

Autumn
A time for a season, a season in time,
in Fall we celebrate the death of living,
flowers, plants turning dull losing shine,
withering their beauty no longer giving.

Winter
A winter storm rages throughout the day,
turns all so calm in the still of the night,
tucked away snug in warm beds we stay,
peering out the window at the moonlight
