Lost in a Daze

We should thank the Lord each and everyday,
for the sky ever so blue and the fields of green,
asking help to overcome the burdens of the day,
thanking for simple things, air fresh and clean.

Life is an endless struggle beyond all compare,
where trials and tribulations are never the same,
in a land of greed, societyfs problems we share,
good verses evil, the earth is anything but tame.

Choices and consequences plaque our mind,
what is, is only a matter of what you believe,
traveling lifefs chartless corridors lost in time,
telling lies, really itfs ourselves that we deceive.

A land of make believe, wondering whatfs real,
lost in reality wandering in fantasy and illusion,
watching our neighbors constantly lie and steal,
looking the other way to cope with the confusion.

Now, thank the Lord in the Heavenfs up above,
without His support wefre left all alone in a daze,
His guiding hands shows us the meaning of love,
and how to negotiate through lifefs endless maze
