Four Seasons (# 3 /10

Spring
The wind blows warming winter’s stale air,
raindrops fall cleansing the dirt of the earth,
as an array of color blossoms for us to share,
while creatures of the wild are all giving birth.

Summer
Soaring high over head a lonely Eagle in flight,
searching for prey it circles the air before it dives,
such a magnificent creature of strength and might,
with keen eyesight and hunting skills to survive.

Autumn
An arctic cold brings a chill to the air,
clouds dark and grey drop the wet rain,
wind howls, leaves falling everywhere,
flooding waters overflow all the drains.

Winter
The snowflakes flutter softly to the ground,
whirling about, gathering to form a drift,
glistening sun creates a blindness all around,
birds have trouble flying unable to get lift.
