Four Seasons" and Other Poems

Four Seasons (# 7 /10)

Spring
Long cold winter brings Spring’s delight,
flowers blooming, creating a beautiful sight,
the rapture, the splendor, elegance just right,
an endless rainbow of colors ever so bright.

Summer
Sunny days to hot summer nights,
no relief, warm winds fail to cool,
under the moonlight sky so bright,
splish, splash, good to have a pool.

Autumn
Each day grows shorter with the coming night,
Fall days transitions from warm to bitter cold,
endless clouds enshroud the night’s starlight,
seasons of the year arrive slowly yet ever bold.

Winter
In autumn winter appears to wither and die,
as the weather turns to winter’s arctic cold,
furious winds, rain, lightening never act shy,
with power and might, mother nature so bold,
